We’re two working moms in South Florida with seven kids between us, who wanted more thoughtful ways to spend time with good people. What began as a standing date grew into weekends built around tennis, padel, mahjong and time together.
We’ll be your hosts throughout the weekend, from the first introductions to the farewell mimosas.

A few things to know
Who is this retreat for?
The Racks & Raquets Retreat is for competitive club players who want focused doubles improvement and for newer or social players who prefer supportive, personalized instruction. mahjong programming is designed for guests who already know the basics of American mahjong.
Can I register for double occupancy on my own?
No. Double-occupancy guests must register with a friend and provide one another’s names. Racks & Raquets will not match roommates.
Who can purchase the $2,150 experience-only option?
It is for current Ocean Reef Club members who already own property or have separately arranged member accommodations. A limited number will be released on November 15 based on availability.
How do payments and transfers work?
A 25% nonrefundable deposit holds your place. The remaining balance is due November 15, 2026, and registrations after that date require payment in full. Travel insurance is recommended. Your registration may be transferred to another eligible guest with written notice at least 7 days before the retreat.
What happens at Friday’s group dinner?
Racks & Raquets will make a group reservation following welcome cocktails and light bites. We invite all participants to join the dinner and get to know each other, but those with other plans can, of course, opt out as desired. Each guest will order and pay for her own dinner and beverages.
How does preferred spa pricing work?
Retreat guests who arrange appointments directly through Racks & Raquets will receive Ocean Reef member pricing. Savings vary by treatment, and appointment availability and final 2027 rates will be confirmed when booked.
How do I get there?
Ocean Reef Club has its own private airport for registered aircraft; it is not served by scheduled airlines. For commercial flights, Miami International Airport (MIA) is the closest option, typically a 50–55 minute drive. Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is also a reasonable option, typically under two hours away. Renting a car is generally the least expensive choice. Private transportation to and from either commercial airport can be arranged through Racks & Raquets upon request.
