The Gentleman's Padel Retreat
An invitation-only weekend for twelve gentlemen — three days on one of Miami's most iconic stretches of beachfront, given the way it should be.
An invitation-only weekend where twelve gentlemen trade the week behind them for three days of world-class padel, ocean air, and the kind of unhurried camaraderie that's become rare.
Racks & Raquets presents The Gentleman's Padel Retreat — a curated weekend at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami, for players who take the game seriously and appreciate the setting it deserves. Premium coaching led by Cliff Drysdale teaching professionals from Spain, competitive match play, recovery built into the schedule, and a small group of like-minded men sharing one of Miami's finest beachfront properties.
Twelve guests. Three days. One of the most underserved experiences in men's sport, delivered the way it should be.
Inside the weekend
Each with five-plus years developing players, having trained and worked at Europe's top academies.
An opening clinic, a full morning of instruction, and a closing round-robin. Coaching that builds across the weekend.
Open afternoons, full spa access, and optional red-light therapy. You'll leave looser than you arrived.
The part of the weekend where twelve strangers become a group worth staying in touch with.
Considered down to the last detail, and yours to take home.

The coaching
The weekend is taught by Cliff Drysdale teaching professionals at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami. Across three courts the ratio never slips — four guests to a coach — with sessions tailored to your game and grouped by level. Instruction that actually reaches you: corrections in real time, not a clinic you watch from the back of the line.

Gift the retreatGood to know
Experienced recreational players who want serious coaching in a setting worth the trip. If padel is already part of your life and you'd enjoy three days of it among good company, you'll be at home here.
Advanced beginner and up. Sessions are grouped by ability, and the four-to-one ratio means coaching meets you where your game actually is — whether you're firming up the fundamentals or sharpening a competitive edge.
Most guests arrive solo. By the first reception, that changes. The group is intentionally small for exactly this reason — twelve men, not a hundred.
Yes — a guest is welcome to share your room. The retreat itself, coaching, programming, receptions, and gifting, is reserved for registered players, so a companion's stay covers the room only. Just let us know when you reserve.
Your racquet, if you have one you love; equipment is available otherwise. Court and resort attire for three days, and not much else.
Yes. Three courts, four guests each, no exceptions. The cap is the point.
A $500 deposit secures your place, with the balance following a simple schedule — see Reserving your place below. The founding rate is held for the first five rooms reserved; standard pricing applies after.

All payments are nonrefundable, and a missed payment releases your place. Your reservation is fully transferable, though — if your plans change, you're welcome to send a guest in your stead.
